Oil and Gas Recommendation for Foreign Workers in Indonesia Revoked
The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources officially revokes its the Oil and Gas Recommendation for foreign workers

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has officially revoked the Oil and Gas Recommendation which was required for foreign workers, by issuing Regulation number No. 6 of 2018. In the column we discuss the implications of the new Regulations on oil and gas companies and their subcontractor companies.
Now the Oil and Gas Recommendation is no longer required, companies can directly apply for the work permit of the foreign worker at the Ministry of Manpower, following the regular application process.
